Office Assistant - Human Resources
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), Human Resource Management Department, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Office Assistant. This position is located on the campus of Georgia Regional Hospital At Savannah.

This position is an Office Assistant, and is primarily responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the Senior Human Resources Manager, and the Human Resources Staff. This includes, but is not limited to: front desk reception, answering multiple telephone lines, greeting and assisting customers/visitors, assistance with preparing correspondence (i.e. emails and letters), calendaring, taking meeting minutes, printing and copying, special projects and initiatives, ordering supplies, and is responsible for filing and the maintenance of records.

High school diploma or GED and two years of related experience OR One year at the lower level or at an equivalent position OR Two years of college or Associate degree.
At least 3 years experience providing administrative/clerical support in a professional office environment. Experience in a Human Resources office is preferred, but is not required Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and organizational skills Must have strong computer skills with advanced working knowledge of the following: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet PeopleSoft, HRIS experience is preferred, but is not required Kronos experience is preferred, but is not required
