The Office of Prevention Services and Programs in the Division of Addictive Diseases is seeking a person to fill the position of Community Support Administrator/Program Consultant.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Under limited supervision, assist with monitoring of substance abuse activities at the community level
- Review of monthly reports
- Review of other prevention related materials submitted during community-based implementation of evidence-based strategies
- Organize and maintain community files/records related to the Strategic Prevention Framework process
- Assist with planning for workshops and meetings with the Governor's Advisory Council and the Prevention Alliance Workgroup

Bachelors degree in a related field and three years experience performing work related to area of assignment OR Masters degree in a related field and one year experience performing work related to area of assignment OR Seven years experience performing work related to area of assignment
Note: Some positions may require licensure

Completion of a Masters degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Social Work or a closely related field, or in second year of Masters program; or a Bachelors degree in any field and 5 years experience working in communities providing substance abuse prevention training, TA and/or consultation
Experience in the area of substance abuse (ATOD) prevention is required with at least 2 years experience providing training and TA to multi-cultural audiences
Experience with applied research, grant proposal development and writing with knowledge of substance abuse EBPs and strategies
Strong computer skills using software packages such as Word, Access, Excel, database development and management; also use of Microsoft Office in writing reports and working with data and programs related to substance abuse is required
Completion of the credentialing for PCCG (or in process), knowledge of DBHDD procurement processes
Experience with community coalitions, SAMSHA and NOM
A valid drivers license and ability to travel is required
