The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Clerical Worker at East Central Regional Hospital located n Augusta, GA.

This is an hourly, part-time position with no benefits.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the supervising consumers
  • Ensuring consumers are free of dangerous contraband that may injure themselves or staff
  • Communicating vital consumer information to appropriate physicians, laboratory staff, members of management and other departments
  • Maintain 24-hour coverage for Admitting/Evaluation
  • Obtain and report consume vital signs and entering vital consumer data on hospital-wide database

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to those who, in addition to meeting the above qualifications, also possess the following:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Clerical Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge and use of computer technology
  • Customer relations experience with persons with physical, developmental, mental health and/or substance abuse disabilities
  • Flexible and ability to work weekends
  • Ability to multi-task

Benefits
